Government Subsidy Support for Polyhouse and Net House
At present, government financial support is offered through two major subsidy channels. The first option is through the respective State Governments under schemes like the National Horticulture Mission (NHM). Subsidy percentages vary from state to state—for example, Haryana offers up to 65% assistance, Punjab provides around 50%, while Himachal Pradesh extends a higher subsidy ranging between 80% and 85% for Polyhouse and Net House projects. These state subsidies are partially funded by the Central Government, which generally reimburses about 50% of the subsidy amount to the states.
In India, government subsidy support is available for all types of protected cultivation structures such as Polyhouses and Net Houses under the guidelines of MIDH. Farmers and entrepreneurs can avail financial assistance for setting up these structures as per the norms issued by the Government of India. Our company provides complete end-to-end support, including documentation and procedural assistance, to help clients successfully apply for and receive the eligible subsidy benefits without hassle.
The second subsidy option is provided directly by the Central Government through the National Horticulture Board (NHB). Under this scheme, financial assistance of up to 50% is available on the total project cost. This includes not only the protected structure but also all essential allied components such as irrigation systems, climate control equipment, and post-harvest management facilities. This comprehensive support makes protected cultivation more affordable and encourages farmers to adopt modern, high-yield farming practices.
